Sophia Cornish, DDS
Dr. Cornish strives to make sure each patient feels heard and valued as an individual. She is dedicated to helping you achieve optimal oral health by providing you with helpful guidance and focusing on your overall health, not just your teeth and gums. Dr Cornish builds meaningful and friendly relationships with each of her patients and is passionate about her profession. In her free time, her favorite activities are spending time outside with her family, reading a good book, and eating ice cream. Dr Cornish is also an avid traveler and would love to hear about any adventures you have planned.

It is with deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of Dr. Piiamari Bowers.
Dr. Bowers was an integral part of Dexter Dental Studio, and a compassionate and dedicated dentist with a commitment to providing excellent care to every patient. Her kindness touched countless lives, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
We understand this news may bring up a range of emotions, and we are here to help in any way we can. Please do not hesitate to reach out to our office with any questions or concerns.
Although we are all feeling this great loss, we reassure you that your health and well-being remain our top priority. We are working diligently to ensure continuity of care and will communicate any necessary updates promptly.
If you have any upcoming appointments with Dr Bowers, be assured that our team will be in contact. We are here to support you and will be in contact shortly. In the absence of Dr. Bowers, Dr. Cornish, Dr. Chick and Dr. Lawrence will provide the same high-quality care and attention to your health needs that you have come to expect.
Dr. Bowers’ therapy dog Uuno is being well cared for and will not be in the office for the immediate future.
We are closed Friday, January 24th so our team can process and grieve the loss of our beloved and respected colleague. Thank you for your trust and understanding during this difficult time. Together, we will honor Dr. Bowers’ legacy by continuing her mission of compassionate, exceptional care.

Taylor Chick, DDS
Dr. Chick graduated in 2022 with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, becoming the fourth-generation dentist in her family. During her schooling, she received the Michigan Periodontal Alumni Association Award for Preventative Periodontal Excellence and enjoyed being the co-president of the American Association of Women Dentists. She loves providing oral health care and building lasting relationships with her patients. In her free time, Dr. Chick loves going on adventures with her husband and their corgi, Kirby.
Haley Lawrence, DDS
Dr. Lawrence grew up in Livonia, MI. She went on to play collegiate softball and graduated in 2022 with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy Dental.
Dr. Lawrence strives to bridge the gap between oral health and overall health. She has a passion for being proactive versus reactive for her patients and believes that uncovering the root cause of any kind of disease is very important. She believes diet and nutrition have a big impact on your oral health, in addition to your general health.
In her free time, she lifts weights to stay in shape and cuddles with her cat, Nike. She also enjoys trying unique foods at different restaurants with her fiancé.
